About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking an IT Analyst to support the UPLIFT DC project, a joint initiative with the World Bank aimed at strengthening information and case‑management services for decommissioned combatants in the Bangsamoro region. The role will focus on designing, implementing and maintaining the Information, Advisory, and Referral Services (IARS) system and related digital tools.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, configure and maintain the IARS database and associated management system.
- Collaborate with project partners, including the World Bank and local authorities, to ensure data integrity and secure information flow.
- Provide technical support for social case‑management platforms and assist in capacity‑building activities for social workers.
- Monitor system performance, generate reports, and recommend enhancements to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with UNDP data‑security policies and donor reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working in development or humanitarian projects is desirable.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Required skills
- Database design and management.
- System analysis and implementation.
- Familiarity with data security standards.
