Invoice Control Manager

About the role

Makro Philippines is seeking an Invoice Control Manager to lead its billing and invoicing operations. The role ensures the accuracy of all invoices, resolves billing discrepancies, and maintains strong relationships with clients and vendors. You will supervise a team and collaborate across departments to streamline billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data‑entry operations, including tracking, reviewing, approving and issuing invoices.
• Maintain accurate client records related to invoicing and bill payment.
• Review the work of billing staff and resolve inconsistencies as needed.
• Lead the preparation of weekly invoicing and billing metric reports.
• Provide guidance on proper collections practices within legal parameters.
• Resolve billing disputes and inquiries from customers.
• Reconcile discrepancies through detailed analysis of billing inaccuracies.
• Collaborate with other departments on billing guidelines and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience as an Invoice Manager or in a similar billing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of collections practices and relevant laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with invoicing software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
