Inventory Analyst (Spanish) – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

BHP is looking for a motivated Inventory Analyst who speaks Spanish to join its dynamic inventory team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will support inventory management processes, collaborate with mine site personnel and internal customers, and help optimise stock levels across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with BHP Charter, Group policies, Code of Conduct and statutory obligations.
• Work with inventory and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable inventory strategy and regional engagement.
• Provide world‑class customer service by delivering the right part to the right place at the right time.
• Analyse stock using IBM MRO (IQ) software and recommend actions for slow‑moving or obsolete items.
• Process maintenance requests, review missed work orders and improve parts availability.
• Support logistics to meet business plan, department and global KPIs.
• Assist the Lead Inventory Analyst with complex issue resolution, work allocation and performance management.
• Continuously update procedures and Quick Reference Guides for the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in commercial, business, supply chain or technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on recommendations for improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and support supply leaders on KPIs.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and Spanish.
