Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will support San Miguel Food Group by delivering independent, objective assurance and consulting audit services. The role focuses on identifying risk exposures, evaluating control effectiveness, and helping improve the organization’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in providing independent, objective assurance and consulting audit services to San Miguel Food Group units.
• Execute internal audit programs to identify and evaluate risk exposures and assess the effectiveness of controls.
• Evaluate governance, operations, and information systems for reliability of financial data, efficiency, asset safeguarding, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.

Required profile

• BS in Accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in external or internal auditing.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations relevant to compliance audits.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and good analytical and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP and other relevant software applications.
• Familiarity with electronic data processing fundamentals and controls.
• Understanding of international standards for internal auditing and accounting.
