Intern – Programme Support

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a motivated intern to support its Programme Office in Manila. This unpaid, full‑time position lasts six months and offers hands‑on experience in communication, reporting, administration, and coordination across UNODC’s crime and drug programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft professional letters, newsletters, concept notes and other communications ensuring clarity and alignment with UNODC style.
• Prepare formal correspondence such as invitations, endorsements and coordination letters for project activities.
• Maintain organized records of drafts, revisions and communication logs.
• Design and layout informational and visually engaging material for internal and external audiences.
• Support the Health and Drugs National Programme Officer with administrative and coordination tasks across UNODC teams.

Required profile

• Available for a six‑month, full‑time unpaid internship in Manila.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in UNODC’s mandate on crime, drugs, terrorism, corruption and justice reform.
