Integrated Work System (IWS) Manager

About the role

The Integrated Work System (IWS) Manager leads the deployment of IWS across the plant, driving cultural transformation and operational excellence. This role embeds the "Learn‑Do‑Teach" methodology, reinforces PDCA practices, and ensures alignment with the site’s roadmap and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support plant leadership in shaping strategic direction, masterplans, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Lead the development and execution of the plant’s cultural vision aligned with IWS principles and the Compelling Business Need.
• Manage phased implementation of IWS, oversee pillar health checks, and conduct audits, reviews, and coaching.
• Benchmark best practices across plants to standardize IWS deployment.
• Build site leadership capability through coaching, qualification processes, and step‑up card usage.
• Lead Process Reliability, establish measurement standards, improvement plans, and regular reporting.
• Maintain site KPIs, visual management tools, and coordinate drumbeat meetings to track progress.
• Collaborate with P&C and L&D to develop training programs, identify gaps, and ensure succession planning for key IWS roles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives in an industrial setting.
• Strong leadership and change‑management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable improvement plans.
• Experience in coaching, talent development, and succession planning.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IWS tools, methodologies, and PDCA cycles.
• Experience with Process Reliability measurement and improvement.
• Proficiency in developing and tracking KPIs and visual management systems.
