Infrastructure Specialist II – IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure Specialist II will design, deploy, and maintain the core IT infrastructure that supports our business operations. You will ensure high availability, reliability, and security across servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain on‑premise and cloud infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and guarantee service uptime.
• Apply security best practices and manage backup, disaster‑recovery, and business‑continuity plans.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to meet business needs.
• Coordinate procurement, implementation, and support with external vendors, telco providers, and IT suppliers.
• Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and relationships to ensure quality delivery.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration.
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) are a plus.

Required skills

• Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls.
• Infrastructure automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet.
• Vendor management, contract negotiation, and SLA administration.
