Information Security Analyst – Threat Intelligence

About the role

Support PLDT Group’s cyber threat intelligence program by collecting, analysing and disseminating actionable intelligence to protect the organisation from emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse threat intelligence from internal and external sources, including OSINT, dark‑web monitoring, industry reports and threat intelligence platforms.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting activities across PLDT’s networks and systems to uncover indicators of compromise and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response and other stakeholders to integrate intelligence into detection and response workflows.
• Produce clear, concise threat‑intelligence reports and brief senior management on trends, risks and mitigation recommendations.
• Manage and optimise threat‑intelligence tools, ensuring proper integration with SIEMs and incident‑response platforms.
• Track and report key performance metrics for the threat‑intelligence function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence and threat‑hunting.
• Ability to work closely with security operations and incident‑response teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and up‑to‑date knowledge of threat‑actor tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
