Information Security Analyst

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking an Information Security Analyst to strengthen its cybersecurity posture. You will work onsite at the Mall of Asia campus, collaborating with managed security service providers and internal teams to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and support containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and Microsoft security technologies to detect suspicious activity.
• Assess cybersecurity risks across ICT projects, digital initiatives, and business operations while supporting governance and compliance requirements.
• Conduct security assessments for third‑party vendors, supply‑chain partners, and new technologies, ensuring timely risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, awareness programs, operational procedures, and incident‑response playbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in cyber security operations, GRC, third‑party security, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, security controls, and incident‑response processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview.
