Information Security Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join its security operations team in Parañaque City. You will protect the organization’s digital assets by monitoring security controls, responding to incidents, and automating threat‑hunting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage technical security controls such as Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, SIEM, and Web proxies.
• Lead end‑to‑end incident response and forensic investigations for network and endpoint compromises.
• Automate manual workflows and intelligence gathering through scripting to improve threat‑hunting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with vendor support and internal stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports for management by analyzing security data and tracking system health and risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role within a medium to large organization.
• Proven ability to conduct full incident response and investigations with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, and Privileged Identity & Access Management (PIM/PAM).
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation.
• Experience with Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, Web proxies, and threat hunting.
• Ability to produce high‑level operational metrics and KPIs for executive review.
