Import Specialist

About the role

Leslie Corporation, a leading food manufacturer and distributor in the Philippines, is seeking an Import Specialist to manage end‑to‑end import activities for its snack, food service, and agribusiness divisions. Based in Parañaque, this full‑time, on‑site position ensures that shipments arrive on time, comply with regulations, and support the company’s supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit import documentation in accordance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to schedule and track shipments.
• Monitor shipment status, resolve customs clearance issues, and maintain accurate import records.
• Liaise with procurement, finance, and warehousing teams to align delivery schedules and verify item details.
• Continuously evaluate import processes to improve efficiency, reduce delays and costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.

Required profile

• Licensed Customs Broker.
• Experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Parañaque and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of import and export processes, documentation, customs requirements, and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple shipments and deadlines.

Required skills

• Licensed Customs Broker certification.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with basic ERP or logistics systems for tracking and reporting import activities.
