Identity Engineer – IAM Specialist

About the role

The Identity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the organization’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution. This senior position leads complex integrations across on‑premises and cloud environments, ensures compliance with security policies, and drives continuous improvement in access governance, authentication, and authorization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s IAM strategy.
• Implement SailPoint solutions in collaboration with internal teams and third‑party consultants, meeting timelines and goals.
• Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures for secure access across systems.
• Oversee provisioning and de‑provisioning of user access to enterprise and production applications.
• Review and approve user access requests submitted through the internal ticketing system.
• Maintain and optimize the SailPoint platform for role management, access certification, and entitlement reviews.
• Collaborate with business units to align user access protocols.
• Respond to and manage incidents involving improper access or policy violations.

Required profile

• Graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 10 years of information security experience, with 5‑7 years focused on IAM.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SailPoint implementation, administration, and support.
• Deep understanding of privileged access management and integration with PAM solutions.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale IAM implementation projects.
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and integration of SailPoint with SAP, cloud applications, and databases.
• Familiarity with IT security risk, audit, and standards such as CIS, ISO27001, PCI‑DSS, Data Privacy Act, and BSP.
