Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will support the Country Program HR strategy and operations, ensuring high‑quality service across recruitment, staff development, wellbeing, and compliance for CRS Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of HR in managing HR programs and services for the country program.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, from job posting to onboarding, to secure timely talent acquisition.
• Provide advice and process support to managers on daily staff management, performance, and development.
• Develop and monitor staff wellbeing and wellness initiatives, measuring participation and impact.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data, and generate analytical reports for workforce planning.
• Administer statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG) and support employee benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Support Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policy implementation and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of HR experience, including recruitment, benefits administration, and wellbeing program design.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and donor/agency HR standards.
• Fluency in English and Filipino.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using HRIS, specifically Oracle.
• Ability to handle confidential information and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational, planning and coordination abilities.
