Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the daily housekeeping operations at Wright Park Hotel, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, and well‑maintained. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to hotel management and works closely with the front office to meet room‑readiness targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor performance.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Train and coach team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Manage laundry workflows, including linen handling, stain treatment, and equipment operation.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed.
• Coordinate with the front office to address guest requests and ensure timely room turnover.
• Handle guest concerns related to cleanliness and resolve issues promptly.
• Support health and safety compliance and promote a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory abilities, including task delegation and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on housekeeping experience covering room cleaning and public area upkeep.
• Knowledge of laundry processes and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for guest interaction.
• Relevant experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality supervision.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to high‑quality guest experience.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with housekeeping checklists or systems.
• Vocational or certification training in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
