Housekeeping Supervisor (Hotel)

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at Seda Manila Bay, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the brand’s standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. This role coordinates closely with Front Office and other departments to achieve efficient room turnover and exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, and ensure rooms are prepared for occupancy, VIPs and special requests.
• Lead, coach and schedule housekeeping associates, monitor attendance, grooming and performance, and conduct daily briefings.
• Coordinate room status and priority with Front Office, and manage lost‑and‑found handling.
• Monitor inventory of supplies, linen and uniforms, conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and hygiene procedures, report hazards and promote proper use of PPE.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Laundry and other departments to resolve maintenance issues and guest concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation, shift reports and room inspection records.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising housekeeping staff in a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, room turnover processes and quality inspection checklists.
• Ability to coordinate with Front Office and other operational departments.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and supplies.
• Commitment to safety, security and hygiene protocols.
