Head of Transaction Banking - Philippines

About the role

ANZ is looking for a senior leader to head its Transaction Banking franchise in the Philippines. The role combines commercial leadership, risk oversight and people management to drive growth across Payments & Cash Management and Trade & Supply Chain services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Transaction Banking sales team in the Philippines to achieve targeted financial performance and profitability.
• Drive sales momentum, new revenue pipelines and cross‑selling opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Manage the business’s balance‑sheet targets, including revenue, ROE, NIM, liabilities and assets.
• Control direct costs such as personnel, travel and entertainment.
• Oversee pipeline management, account planning, RFP/RFI responses and collaboration with coverage heads.
• Foster a client‑centric culture through collaborative account planning and wallet‑sizing exercises.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, governance standards and risk frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience in institutional or transaction banking.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability.
• Deep understanding of payments, cash management, trade and supply‑chain finance.
• Experience managing risk, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate high‑performing teams.
