Head of Procurement – Philippines

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded procurement leader to head our Philippines purchasing function based in Cebu. As a member of the country leadership team, you will shape procurement strategy, manage supply risk and build a high‑performing local team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Philippines procurement and risk coverage strategy aligned with regional direction.
• Lead sourcing for key raw materials, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity and risk mitigation.
• Maintain market intelligence on supply‑demand dynamics, price trends and material availability.
• Optimize the supplier portfolio through strategic selection, negotiation and relationship management.
• Collaborate with commercial, planning, formulation and finance teams to align demand forecasting and purchasing decisions.
• Drive process improvements across purchasing, planning, execution and contract management.
• Develop and manage the annual procurement budget and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Lead, coach and develop the local procurement team, setting performance targets and fostering a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or commodity purchasing with proven leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of raw‑material markets, supply risk and price dynamics.
