Head of Luzon Shore Operations

About the role

The Head of Luzon Shore Operations provides overall leadership and direction for all shore‑based activities across the Luzon region. This senior role ensures that terminal, container yard and transport functions are executed efficiently, safely and in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the regional operational strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
• Oversee integration of terminal, yard and transport operations to deliver seamless end‑to‑end service.
• Lead long‑term planning for capacity, infrastructure and resource requirements.
• Provide direction for daily shore‑based operations, including cargo handling, transport support and port coordination.
• Monitor performance, efficiency and service levels, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Anticipate and resolve regional operational challenges to maintain business continuity.
• Establish operational controls, policies and performance monitoring systems.
• Manage risks related to port operations, service disruptions and resource availability.
• Lead and develop the regional operations team, fostering a strong performance culture.
• Represent the company in engagements with port authorities, regulators and internal partners.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity and cost‑effectiveness.
