Head of Logistics

About the role

The Head of Logistics will design and execute multi‑product stock allocation and inventory strategies across consolidated warehouses, ensuring sales targets are met while protecting working capital. The role provides technical support to Operations Logistics Managers in procurement, cost control, trade asset management, and warehousing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage logistics strategies aligned with overall supply‑chain goals.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of logistics professionals.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities in transportation, warehousing and inventory.
• Build and maintain relationships with third‑party logistics providers.
• Maintain and improve KPIs such as delivery accuracy, lead times and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, sales and customer service for seamless operations.
• Analyse logistics data and provide regular reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 4‑year Engineering, Accounting or related business program.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in supply‑chain, warehousing or distribution management, preferably in food manufacturing or commodity products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, be on‑call and travel across the Philippines as needed.
