Head of Finance / Financial Controller

About the role

Intellect, the global leader in mental health benefits, is seeking a Head of Finance / Financial Controller to join the executive team. Reporting to the CEO and VP Finance, you will shape the finance function as the company scales rapidly across more than 100 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax and compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies and governance processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and monitor financial risk.
• Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and accounting partners.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.
• Provide financial analysis and scenario modelling to support leadership decision‑making.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance leader with strong controllership capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with commercial awareness.
• Experience managing month‑end closes, internal controls and budgeting processes.
• Ability to work across strategic and operational finance responsibilities.
