Head of Business Development

About the role

The Head of Business Development will shape and execute the company’s growth strategy across the Philippines, driving national revenue targets and expanding the hotel and property network. Reporting to the Country Manager, this leader will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of market expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve national growth and revenue goals.
• Identify new market opportunities, trends, and partnership channels to strengthen market presence.
• Lead the Business Development team in sourcing, pitching, and onboarding hotel and property partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements, ensuring smooth onboarding and long‑term profitability.
• Mentor and coach the team, set KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a results‑driven culture.
• Track market developments, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with Revenue and Operations teams to optimize pricing, occupancy, and partner returns.
• Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or expansion roles, preferably in hospitality, travel tech, real estate, or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record in managing partnerships, negotiations, and large‑scale network expansion.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Experience leading and motivating large, multi‑regional teams is an advantage.
