Head Accountant

About the role
The Head Accountant will lead the accounting function, ensuring all financial activities comply with regulations and support strategic decision‑making. This senior position reports directly to senior management and plays a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations and guarantee regulatory compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with auditors during fiscal year‑end and special audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks.
- Proficiency with SAP.
