Guidance Counselor – Student Support & Development

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Guidance Counselor for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role supports the institution’s mission to develop future leaders by providing comprehensive counseling, assessment, and support services to students, families, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement a guidance development plan aligned with school objectives.
• Conduct individual and group counseling covering academic, career, personal, and emotional issues.
• Administer psychological, achievement, and other standardized tests, and interpret results for students and parents.
• Identify and support students with special educational needs, coordinating with teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Develop crisis management and intervention strategies, and participate in learning‑support meetings.
• Provide training and guidance to parents, teachers, and staff on classroom management, parenting skills, and transition processes.
• Assist the principal with student recruitment, orientation programs, and staff development related to guidance services.
• Plan and promote virtue campaigns, spiritual formation activities, and homeroom programs.

Required profile

• Qualified professional with experience in school counseling or related fields.
• Strong understanding of student development and special educational needs.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
