Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting and finance transformation across multiple entities. The role combines operational discipline with strategic insight to support rapid growth and complex corporate initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s accounting, financial reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial statements for all entities.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and finance policies.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and external audits.
• Drive finance transformation, system improvements and process automation.
• Partner with business leaders on financial planning, analysis and strategic decision‑making.
• Support fundraising, due diligence, M&A and investor reporting as needed.
• Build a high‑performing finance organization capable of supporting rapid growth.
• Negotiate commercial terms with external partners.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, Finance Director or senior finance leadership role.
• Background with a reputable audit firm is a strong advantage.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and internal‑controls expertise.
• Experience in multi‑entity or fast‑growing organisations.
• Knowledge of financial modelling, valuation and business planning.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or other enterprise ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinker able to balance operational discipline with long‑term growth.
