Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead accounting, reporting and month‑end close activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of financial statements. This senior position partners with business leaders to drive strategic financial decisions and support growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group’s accounting, financial reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Produce accurate, timely financial statements for all entities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and finance policies.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and coordinate external audits.
• Drive finance transformation, system improvements and process automation initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders on financial planning, analysis and strategic decision‑making.
• Support fundraising, due diligence, M&A activities and investor reporting.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing finance organization capable of supporting rapid growth.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles such as Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or Finance Director.
• Background with a reputable audit firm is a strong advantage.
• Experience in multi‑entity, fast‑growing organisations.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
