Governance and Performance Management Officer

About the role

The Governance and Performance Management Officer will oversee vendor relationships, ensuring that service levels and key performance indicators are met while mitigating associated risks. This role requires strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to align vendor performance with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, set, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all vendors.
• Review performance data, conduct audits, and recommend improvements to guarantee high‑quality service delivery.
• Manage risk by ensuring vendor compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations.
• Analyze vendor data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities for corrective actions.
• Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships through proactive communication, dispute resolution, and alignment of vendor goals with organizational strategy.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration with vendors and strategic alignment with business units.
• Contribute to the development of a strategic approach that safeguards operations against vendor underperformance or business disruption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business administration, supply‑chain management, procurement, finance, or IT vendor/project management.
• Proven experience in performance tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with business continuity planning and exit‑strategy creation.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
