Google Workspace Administrator

About the role

The System Administrator will manage, secure, and optimise the enterprise Google Workspace environment. You will be responsible for user lifecycle management, security policy enforcement, data loss prevention, incident response and comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Automate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, provision accounts and preserve data for departing users.
• Design and maintain Organizational Units, Groups and SSO integrations with IdPs such as Okta or Azure AD.
• Enforce MFA, Context‑Aware Access and DLP rules; manage Google Vault retention, legal holds and discovery searches.
• Configure DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and troubleshoot email deliverability.
• Administer core services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat) and oversee Shared Drive architecture.
• Audit third‑party Marketplace apps and manage API token grants.
• Execute bulk operations with GAM or Python scripts; manage MDM for iOS, Android and ChromeOS devices.
• Investigate security alerts using the Security Investigation Tool and review Admin Audit and BigQuery logs.
• Maintain runbooks and end‑user documentation for new Google features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience administering Google Workspace, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environments.

Required skills

• Google Admin Console and Google Apps Manager (GAM).
• Python scripting for automation.
• Identity provider integration (Okta, Azure AD) and SSO configuration.
• MFA/2SV and Context‑Aware Access policies.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule creation and management.
• Google Vault administration.
• DNS security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) configuration.
• Mobile Device Management for iOS, Android and ChromeOS.
• Security Investigation Tool and audit‑log analysis (BigQuery).
