About the role

Join Outsourcey’s mission to revolutionize global talent expansion by building high‑performing Go microservices for enterprise clients. You will work from our Manila facility, collaborating across Manila and Melbourne time zones to deliver secure, reliable, and AI‑enhanced solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and operate Go (Golang) microservices.
• Implement secure‑by‑design controls, including input validation, encryption in transit and at rest, and secrets handling.
• Own the full story lifecycle: design, build, test, and deploy to non‑production environments.
• Participate actively in code reviews, enforcing provenance markers for AI‑assisted code.
• Collaborate daily with Business Analysts and QA Engineers on story clarity, test scenarios, and automation hooks.
• Drive AI‑assisted delivery using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor and contribute to measurable delivery uplift.
• Take part in iteration ceremonies and showcase demonstrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years delivering production Go microservices for enterprise clients.
• Strong AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, KMS, VPC).
• Test‑first discipline with unit, contract, and integration tests.
• Daily use of AI‑native engineering tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) with concrete workflow improvements.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to collaborate across time zones.
