Global Inventory Control & Optimization Lead

About the role

IMI is seeking a hands‑on Global Inventory Control & Optimization Lead to turn data into action, improve inventory performance and drive change across its manufacturing network in Asia, Europe and Mexico. The role reports to the Global Head of Supply Chain and is based in the Philippines, with international travel as required.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse inventory performance globally, balancing inventory investment, customer service and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross‑functional actions with Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Sales and Finance to address inventory challenges.
• Develop and execute inventory optimisation strategies, delivering measurable working‑capital improvements.
• Identify root causes of excess, aged and obsolete stock and implement sustainable reduction programmes.
• Improve inventory accuracy through robust controls, cycle‑counting and physical inventory governance.
• Standardise inventory control processes, KPIs and operating routines across all IMI sites.
• Support SAP‑based inventory processes, create dashboards, reporting tools and automation solutions to enhance visibility and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading inventory control, optimisation or supply‑chain improvement initiatives in electronics manufacturing or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of planning, materials management, warehouse operations and inventory‑management principles.
• Demonstrated success delivering inventory reduction, process improvement or transformation projects.
