About the role
The Accounting Officer supports the Accounting Manager in delivering accurate month‑end closing, financial reporting and budget preparation. The role involves preparing balance‑sheet schedules, cash‑flow projections and variance analyses while assisting with internal and external audits.
Key responsibilities
- Handle month‑end closing tasks including journal entries, reconciliations and schedule preparation.
- Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet schedules and perform reconciliations.
- Produce financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze income‑statement results and variances against budget and prior year.
- Assist in meeting internal and external audit requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- At least 3 years of general accounting/GL and month‑end closing experience.
- Familiarity with financial statements and reconciliations.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Paranaque.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP (preferred but not mandatory).
