General Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a General Accounting Specialist to join the Finance team of Marie France Group of Companies. The role supports multi‑entity operations and ensures accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Handle month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC and other Philippine regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audit engagements.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
• Support tax compliance and audit documentation submission.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end accounting processes independently.
• High level of integrity and professional judgment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software/systems.
• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
• Financial reporting, tax compliance and audit coordination.
• Multi‑entity accounting handling.
