General Accounting Specialist (CPA required - Night Shift)

About the role

The General Accounting Specialist reviews the preparation and completion of basic general accounting deliverables and handles more complex tasks in line with the agreed service level agreement. This role works closely with the General Accounting Manager I to improve operational efficiency, recommend process improvements, and support other team members.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily bank reconciliation, weekly bank summary, liquidity and cash‑flow reports.
• Monitor, reconcile and account for fixed‑asset accounts.
• Review relevant journals via manual AP web ADI, AP workbench, or similar platforms for approved intercompany invoices.
• Execute period‑end close procedures across inventory, purchasing, payables, receivables, treasury, fixed assets, projects and the general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain critical account reconciliations and ensure monthly schedules and analyses are available.
• Supervise monthly and quarterly OneStream reporting, including IC reconciliation, financial package, and treasury reporting.
• Prepare post‑month‑end reports and review process documentation and flowcharts.
• Ensure audit requirements are met during interim and year‑end financial audits and assist in drafting statutory reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA certification is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial/general accounting or audit, preferably in a shared‑service or multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shift, to meet tight deadlines.
• Result‑oriented with high attention to detail and a proactive team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience using OneStream reporting platform.
