General Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – General Accounting to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance. The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, maintains compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, drives continuous process improvements, and leads the accounting team to achieve operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, PEZA, and other applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and expense movements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements through ERP optimization, digitalization, and workflow enhancements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team through performance management and continuous learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any business‑related course, preferably in Accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and PEZA rules and requirements.
• Experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and audit coordination.
• Experience leading or supporting digitalization projects, process improvements, or ERP optimization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
