General Accountant

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a General Accountant to join its Finance team in Quezon City. The role focuses on bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, month‑end closing activities and providing support to improve finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reconcile and account for company credit card and FlexiPurchase transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
• Process month‑end accruals and journal entries.
• Manage intercompany rebills and recharges.
• Complete Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting.
• Identify and drive improvements to finance processes and procedures.
• Provide general support to the Finance team as required.
