General Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking a General Accountant to join its finance team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries such as accruals, payroll, intercompany, and month‑end adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end closing activities within agreed timelines.
• Generate monthly reports and variance analyses to support business decision‑making.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in managing month‑end/year‑end closes and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: CPA qualification, experience in a multinational or BPO environment, and hands‑on experience with ERP systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
