Full‑time Baker – Craft Bakery

About the role

Sunday Bakehouse is opening its first physical store in Cebu and is looking for a dedicated Baker to join the team. You will be responsible for creating a variety of breads, pastries, and comfort‑focused baked goods that reflect the brand’s warm, home‑style approach.

Key responsibilities

• Scale, mix, shape, proof, and bake doughs and batters for breads and pastries.
• Monitor baking times and quality to ensure consistent taste, texture, and appearance.
• Manage ingredient inventory, storage, and proper handling.
• Maintain a clean, food‑safe kitchen environment in line with sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Baker and front‑of‑house staff to meet daily production targets and special orders.
• Ensure fresh products are available throughout the day to create a welcoming customer experience.

Required profile

• Basic bread‑baking skills, including dough preparation and pastry production.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow and adjust recipes accurately with strong attention to detail.
• Effective time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Teamwork and clear communication with kitchen and service teams.
• Previous bakery, café, or pastry‑kitchen experience is welcome; vocational or culinary training is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for comfort‑driven baked goods and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
