Fullstack Developer – Japanese Bilingual

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer who is fluent in Japanese to join its team in the Philippines. You will design, develop, and maintain server‑side functionality for interactive web and mobile applications while collaborating with a range of platforms such as CMS, eCommerce, CRM, cloud services and CDNs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate web services using Java, Ruby, Perl, HTTP, SOAP and REST.
• Integrate databases with applications through APIs and ensure efficient data exchange.
• Manage page flow and user interactions across multiple platforms to deliver seamless experiences.
• Collaborate with CMS, eCommerce, CRM, cloud infrastructure and CDN teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack development for web and mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash and Git.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, SOAP and REST.
• Experience working with CMS, eCommerce, CRM systems, cloud infrastructure and CDNs.
• Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking, listening) and willing to work client‑dictated shifts.
