Full Stack Software Developer (Remote – Philippines)

About the role

MoneySmart Group is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join its remote team in the Philippines. You will design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end solutions that power consumer‑facing finance products and internal platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build, improve, and maintain backend and frontend systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.
• Deliver initiatives from ideation through analysis, design, development, testing, and production release.
• Write clean, well‑structured, well‑tested code and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to increase efficiency while validating outputs with sound engineering judgment.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Continuously learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production software systems.
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals such as object‑oriented design and system design basics.
• Experience with backend frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Python stacks and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and efficient query writing.
• Experience building frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Hands‑on experience with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Working understanding of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, and AI‑assisted development tools.
