Full Stack Engineer (Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase)

About the role

We are a Sydney‑based scale‑up building a community platform for not‑for‑profits and associations. We are looking for a full‑stack engineer based in the Philippines to join our passionate team full‑time and help shape the product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features using Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Node.js and Firebase (Firestore & Cloud Functions).
• Integrate AI‑first tooling such as Claude Code or Cursor into the development workflow and contribute to our agent‑driven build and review processes.
• Write comprehensive unit and end‑to‑end tests with Jest and Playwright, enforce linting and type‑checking gates.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams during Sydney business hours to deliver high‑quality SaaS functionality.
• Maintain and evolve NoSQL data models and backend business logic.

Required profile

• Solid experience with the core stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Firebase.
• Hands‑on experience building full‑stack SaaS features from concept to production.
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted coding tools and staying up‑to‑date with AI development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to code quality.
• Available to work full‑time (40 h/week) during Sydney business hours and based in the Philippines.
