Full Stack Developer – PWA & Node.js

About the role

Our client, a premier global industrial technology and engineering enterprise, is seeking a Full‑Stack PWA & Node.js Developer based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining mobile‑friendly Progressive Web Applications and backend services that power custom enterprise software solutions for field teams and global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise responsive full‑stack web applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) for backend services.
• Implement offline‑first PWA capabilities, including service workers, web app manifests, advanced caching (Workbox), push notifications and cross‑platform installability.
• Design modular, reusable React components with state management (Redux or Context API) and mobile‑first responsive layouts.
• Develop high‑performance RESTful APIs in Node.js, secure authentication (JWT/OAuth2), middleware integration and API versioning.
• Model, maintain and optimise MongoDB collections, indexes and aggregation pipelines.
• Integrate third‑party enterprise APIs with robust error handling and offline fallback mechanisms.
• Own the full SDLC: architecture design, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD deployment and tier‑3 production support.
• Collaborate in Agile sprint ceremonies with Product Owners, Systems Analysts and QA engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive full‑stack web development experience using Node.js and React.
• Proven experience working in Agile teams across international time zones.
