Frontend Web Developer – HTML & CSS (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role focuses on building responsive, pixel‑perfect user interfaces and ensuring cross‑browser compatibility for a high‑traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS and related technologies.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Translate mockups from Figma, Sketch or similar tools into functional UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance, accessibility and loading times.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience with semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile‑first development.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors or frameworks such as SASS, LESS, Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and testing.
