FP&A Senior Analyst – Warehouse Costing

About the role

The FP&A Senior Analyst will own management reporting for warehouse costing actuals and forecasts. This role tracks warehouse cost performance, explains variances, and supports forecasting cycles with accurate, well‑organized reporting outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports on warehouse costing (labor, consumables, rental, depreciation) using data from the general ledger and operational systems.
• Reconcile cost data reported by Accounting with operational metrics such as units handled, orders fulfilled, and storage capacity utilized.
• Analyze and report variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key cost drivers for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Consolidate costing inputs into forecast and budget templates, collaborating with Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards (cost‑per‑unit, cost‑per‑order, cost as % of sales) to monitor cost trends over time.
• Support monthly/quarterly business reviews by preparing slides, commentary, and supporting schedules for leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in audit, financial planning, budget management, or a similar role.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Outstanding critical‑thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with several teams and interact with senior management.
