Foodservice Specialist

About the role

The Foodservice Specialist (also referred to as Food Service Consultant) promotes and sells the company’s food products while building strong relationships with key decision‑makers in the hospitality sector. The role combines product expertise, market research and proactive networking to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s history, mission, vision and product portfolio.
• Acquire comprehensive product knowledge, including source, processing and culinary applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, general managers, head chefs and other executives.
• Research assigned customer clusters such as hotels, restaurant chains, coffee shops, caterers and independent accounts.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new market entrants and emerging food innovations.
• Participate in relevant industry associations and expand a professional network within food and hospitality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of sales or customer‑facing experience in food, hospitality or related industries (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Strong interest in food history, culinary trends and innovative product applications.
• Fast learner with a commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional, confident presentation and interpersonal abilities.
