Fleet Safety & Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Safety & Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the entire warehouse vehicle fleet, ensuring all trucks, vans and electric vehicles remain in optimal condition and comply with safety regulations. This role combines preventive maintenance planning, driver certification management and accident investigation to minimise downtime and uphold high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for the warehouse fleet (4.2 m trucks, L300 vans, EVs).
• Conduct monthly vehicle safety inspections covering brakes, tires, lighting, signals and emissions.
• Coordinate external repairs, track maintenance costs and optimise cost control.
• Maintain driver licence, medical and defensive‑driving certification records and manage renewals.
• Design and deliver driver safety training programmes on load securing, hazard awareness and accident prevention.
• Lead investigations of traffic accidents and near‑miss incidents, produce root‑cause analysis reports and implement corrective actions.
• Manage safety equipment inventory (first‑aid kits, fire extinguishers, reflective vests) and ensure compliance with expiry dates.
• Ensure fleet operations meet Philippine DOLE occupational safety standards and LTO regulations.
• Act as point of contact for insurance claims, preparing documentation and following up on claim status.

Required profile

• College degree in automotive repair, mechanical engineering, logistics, transportation or related field; technical certificates are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in fleet maintenance, vehicle repair coordination or warehouse transportation operations.
• Experience in e‑commerce logistics, 3PL or express delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of Philippine LTO vehicle registration, annual inspection, driver licence regulations and DOLE OSH standards.
