Fleet Manager – Vehicle Maintenance & Operations

About the role

The Fleet Manager is responsible for ensuring that all delivery vehicles are maintained, compliant, and ready for daily operations. This role oversees the entire lifecycle of the fleet, from preventive maintenance to regulatory renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and guarantee deployment‑ready vehicles.
• Monitor and coordinate body and mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and track downtime.
• Maintain and update repair status, maintenance schedules, and vehicle history records.
• Ensure timely renewal of OR/CR, insurance, and vehicle registrations.
• Manage GPS monitoring systems to track vehicle usage and movement.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, insurance work, and leasing services.
• Oversee toll fee billing, expense tracking, and issuance of vehicle stickers and plate identifiers.
• Monitor truck deployment schedules and ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency.
• Recommend process improvements for cost savings and optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in fleet management, logistics, or trucking operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with transport and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and monitoring systems.
