Financial Reporting & Controls Accountant

About the role

The Finance Planning & Compliance Officer supports the Chief Financial Officer in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and finance‑related compliance. Acting as a key individual contributor, the role converts financial and operational data into actionable management information and ensures that finance processes and compliance requirements are properly maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare templates, consolidate departmental inputs and maintain detailed schedules for headcount, payroll and operating expenses.
• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts, coordinate assumptions with department heads and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Produce recurring management reporting packages, budget‑versus‑actual and forecast‑versus‑actual analyses, and KPI dashboards for the CFO.
• Perform variance analysis, identify performance drivers and support the preparation of executive financial presentations.
• Track and document finance‑related compliance activities, ensuring timely completion and proper record‑keeping.
• Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and continuous improvement of reporting formats and methodologies.
