Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning Analyst will join Cohu’s Finance team in Calamba, Philippines, supporting the FP&A function. You will prepare budgets, forecasts and regular financial reports, build and maintain models, and turn data into actionable insights for management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and analyze budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances.
• Develop and maintain financial models for scenario analysis and business planning.
• Consolidate financial data from multiple sources and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support cost analysis, performance metrics and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field; CFA or CPA a plus.
• Strong foundation in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced analytical abilities with experience interpreting quantitative and qualitative data.
• Effective communication skills to present financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work both independently and in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
