Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist – Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist who will combine finance expertise with business intelligence and data analytics to deliver accurate, automated reporting and actionable insights for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, forecast, and automate business reports as needed.
• Standardize data metrics and KPIs by leveraging business processes and data knowledge.
• Update and enhance reports for Shopee, delivering both written and oral presentations to management.
• Design and implement new reports and data solutions to support various teams.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses, produce reports, and present actionable insights to senior leaders.
• Improve BI tools and systems to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in the finance or banking sector (highly preferred).
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong numerical ability and analytical mindset.
• Problem‑solving aptitude and leadership potential.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Advanced PowerPoint proficiency.
• SQL knowledge (advantageous but not mandatory).
