Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (CPA)

About the role

Our client, a leading global property and lifestyle media company, is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join its commercial finance team in Ortigas. The analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and workforce analytics across the group while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare templates and instructions for commercial finance inputs, including CFO pack, group forecast/budget models and metric trackers.
• Update group consolidation workbooks ahead of month‑end and reconcile business‑unit forecast submissions.
• Maintain and analyse group headcount data to produce monthly workforce reports.
• Track and forecast annual leave and bonus leave, and contribute to group‑level budget and forecast assumptions.
• Partner with P&C, Legal, FabS and CEO units on month‑end accruals, project tracker approvals and revenue analysis.
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting and Group Reporting teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Group SOX requirements and drive process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recently CA or CPA qualified.
• Understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Experience with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning) strongly preferred.
• Strong initiative, ownership and analytical capability.
• Ability to work productively in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Highly responsive to team requests and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.

Required skills

• Excel (intermediate level).
• Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning software.
