Financial Director International

About the role

The Financial Director International will provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a global food and restaurant business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role partners with senior leaders across operations, commercial, supply chain and other functions to drive sustainable growth, profitability and financial discipline across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, set targets, KPIs and performance measures aligned with international business objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and monitor performance against budget, identifying variances and corrective actions.
• Oversee financial management across all international markets, ensuring consistent practices, cash‑flow and working‑capital optimisation.
• Provide financial oversight of restaurant/store operations, analysing sales, cost structures, margins, inventory, wastage and operating expenses.
• Support market entry, new store openings, acquisitions and partnerships, assessing country‑specific financial risks, FX exposure and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance within food, restaurant, hospitality, FMCG or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proven track record managing finance functions across multi‑country or international operations.
• Strong partnership skills to work closely with CEOs, executive teams and operational leaders.
• Senior‑level professional capable of influencing strategic decisions and driving financial discipline.
